About Me

I am a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) providing individual, couple, children and family therapy. I specialize in domestic violence recovery. I have worked with many abuse survivors, including adults, children and families. I also specialize in parenting/family support. As a certified advanced trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach to parenting I am uniquely qualified to support you in the challenges you may face as a parent or family.

I view counseling as a collaborative experience and a safe place where self-discovery, learning, and healing takes place. To best support you, I need to get to know you and to understand your feelings and experiences as much as possible. The key to effective counseling is providing a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a positive and non-judgmental atmosphere. I will listen to you, help you clarify your thoughts and feelings, and support you in beginning to gain a better understanding of yourself.

Education- I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle specializing in Couple and Family Therapy. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from City University.

Additional Training- I am a certified advanced trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach.

Professional Activities and Memberships- I am an active associate member in both AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy) as well as WAMFT (Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy)
